And I seem to be the one who gets in the head on collision. LOL
I love this song though. What a great message.I believe you do have to go for what you want, regardless the risks. And thus why I get the Mack truck slammed into my heart by “friends”. Sometimes people don’t want to deal with someone so open or affectionate. It’s a friggin’ shame. I have so much to give my friends. And I get such joy out of giving. (Thus why I did become a nurse, though unemployed at the moment.) But you know, sometimes I like a little in return to know I’m appreciated. Or at least cared for. *sigh*
I am definitely too affectionate. I hide it well sometimes, but I am. And admitting to it is hard. And risky. I trust, and I get slammed because I care too much. Life as a writer is tough, but when you have a heart so open to want to care, it is bound to be stomped on. It’s the story of my life.

And on a side note, I love Jon…he is smokin’. A smokin’ Jersey dude!

Update note for DZA:
Yeah, I got clobbered lately. I have a talent for getting clobbered. And I am still down. Been down for weeks. I can’t shake it. Why? Because my heart got clobbered.
I hate being so emotional. It is the lot of life for the writer, I think. We feel too much.
I should mention I have a new paperback out at Ellora’s Cave, Even Naughtier Nuptials. It is NOT action adventure by any means. But it does include a romantic comedy werewolf story of mine, Bridesmaid and the Beast. [purchase link]
It’s been eight blissful months since I, Sophia Monroe, Luckiest Woman in the World, found Greg, my British hunk of burning love, who also happens to be a complete animal in bed. But just when I thought life couldn’t be sweeter, both of us were tapped to be in a coworker’s wedding, which got me thinking — why hasn’t Greg mentioned the M word? Read more…
